BRECKENRIDGE — On race day today, the Blue River will be dappled with more than 10,000 little yellow ducks stretching from the Maggie Pond by Main Street Station to the Riverwalk Center in Breckenridge. The Rubber Duck Race consists of three races — a Corporate Race, a Kids Race and The Great Rubber Duck Race.
The duck day starts at 11:30 a.m. today in the Blue River Plaza with Hearthstone catering providing grilled food and beverages.
Kids amusements and live music is starting at 11:30 a.m., leading into the Comcast Kids Duck Dash at 2 p.m.
From noon to 2 p.m., kids 12 and under can participate in a skateboard jam session on Adams Street. Many skate features will show the skill and talent of local, younger riders.
The FirstBank of Summit County Business Battle Race takes place at 3 p.m. and the Myriam Enterprises Great Rubber Duck Race commences at 4 p.m.
After the race, catch the sounds of Rock Solid Groove Cult, along with food and family activities until 6:30 p.m. at the Riverwalk Center.
