BEST SNOWBOARDING MOUNTAIN

1. Copper Mountain
A laid back vibe along with sick terrain parks keep Copper as the favorite
mountain for snowboarders for another year. Dig into the bowls on a powder
day, rip it up in the trees or show off in the terrain park. If you’re not ready to
go in the big park, Copper provides a beginner track with mini kickers and small
rails. Once you’ve mastered the basics, Catalyst park features a 430-foot long
Superpipe with 18-foot walls set on a 16-degree pitch. Known for its consistent
conditions, even in the early season, it’s one of the best maintained pipes in the state.

BEST SKIING MOUNTAIN

1. Breckenridge
Breckenridge is the perfect skiing mountain, with something to satisfy
everyone, whether they are complete beginners or experienced skiers.
Midday grooming allows you the opportunity to make first tracks, even

varying in steepness for different abilities. Fancy more of a challenge? Go
to the top of the mountain and try out some of the bowls or the mogul
fields on peak 10. Oh, and there’s no need to worry about taking that
T-bar: Breckenridge’s Imperial lift is the highest in North America and
will take you right to the top (barring the 150 ft hike you can do to really
feel like you’re standing on top of the world). Throw in terrain parks of
varying sizes for freestyle skiers, including the biggest jumps in the USA,
cafes on the mountain and the new gondola to get you up and started
and you’ve got some great days to look forward to during the ski season.
